Tutankhamun Chariot
₹42,999
When Tutankhamun’s tomb was opened, six chariots were found – perfectly preserved, stacked one on top of each other in parts. This chariot was made of wood and gilded with gold and it is an absolute miracle than organic material from 3500 years ago survived so well – thanks to the dry weather of Egypt.

The Enigmatic Face of a Pharaoh: The Mystery of the Khufu Statuette
Pharaoh Khufu—known to the Greeks as Cheops—was the visionary who ordered the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza around 2500 BCE. His monument, a staggering mountain of stone, is the only surviving wonder of the ancient world. Yet, paradoxically, while his pyramid dominates the earth, his own image has nearly vanished into shadow.
In all the vast necropolis of Giza, with its colossal temples and tombs, archaeologists have uncovered only a single confirmed likeness of Khufu. It is not a towering statue of granite, nor a mural stretching across temple walls. Instead, it is a tiny ivory figurine, barely three inches tall—discovered far from the Giza plateau, in a ruined temple at Abydos in 1903.
This miniature shows Khufu seated upon a throne, wearing the red crown of Lower Egypt, his name inscribed in hieroglyphs on the base. Simple, unadorned, and almost modest, it offers us the only direct glimpse of the ruler who commanded the building of one of history’s greatest architectural marvels. How could the man behind such grandeur be represented by so fragile and diminutive a relic?
Some scholars believe the statuette was a votive offering, a symbolic object placed in a temple for ritual purposes. Others see it as an accidental survivor, the last remnant of a sculptural tradition that once portrayed Khufu more fully. Its survival is itself remarkable—an echo of a forgotten age preserved through chance.
And so, Khufu remains both omnipresent and invisible: the builder of eternity, yet a man whose true face is lost to time. His pyramid pierces the sky, but his own image exists only as this fragile ivory figure—humble in size, yet monumental in meaning.
